Tip of the Week: Quick and Secure Authorization on Websites

When you purchase products via the Internet, manage bank accounts and eWallets, cyber criminals may steal your personal data. One of the best methods to secure your accounts is to create strong unique passwords for every online web resource you use. Still, it’s tricky to remember so many complicated passwords and stay protected from phishing and keyloggers at the same time.

That’s where Password Manager from Kaspersky PURE 3.0 comes to the rescue. This component allows you to create a database that would store your personal data and passwords in a special encrypted location. You can easily add new accounts and quickly authorize websites using strong passwords while only needing to remember one password – to Password Manager.

One of the best methods to secure your accounts is to create strong unique passwords for every online web resource you use.

By default, Password Manager is disabled. Enable the component by following the recommendations of the set-up wizard. Adding accounts to your password database is now easy because Password Manager automatically suggests saving your login data when accessing web resources (if the component is unlocked):

In addition, you can click the icon of the unlocked Password Manager and select the required account from the All accounts list. Password Manager will open the service in a new tab/window and log you in automatically.
